This policy explains how Pack & Load Services, Inc. (“Pack & Load”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our websites, ask for a quote, book a service, or talk, text or email with us. It covers packandloadservices.com and the partner pages we operate for customers of our container partners, including pods.packandloadservices.com and redrover.packandloadservices.com. We provide moving labor (loading, unloading and packing) and related services, including shuttling belongings by truck to and from a container facility, in the United States.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics sharing can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising”, under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out as described below.
Text messaging. We do not share or sell your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We use cookies, browser storage and similar tools to count visits, understand how people use our site, and measure our advertising. The tools we use include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and our own site analytics. In most places, including the United States and Canada, these are on by default. In the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask first.
You can turn analytics or advertising off at any time with the “Your Privacy Choices” link at the bottom of every page. We keep your choice in your browser, so it applies when you come back; clearing your browser data resets it. You can also use Google’s own opt-out tools for Google Analytics and for personalised ads.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as your request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, for that browser. We switch off advertising cookies and advertising data sharing, even if you accepted them before. We continue basic site analytics to understand traffic and keep the site working.
Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we handle it the same way as Global Privacy Control: advertising cookies and advertising data sharing are switched off for that browser, and basic site analytics continues.
Tracking by others. When advertising is on, Google and other advertising partners may collect information about your activity on our site and other sites over time. Turning advertising off in “Your Privacy Choices”, or sending GPC or Do Not Track, stops this on our site.
If you tick the text-message box on our quote form, we send texts about your service, such as quotes, appointment confirmations and crew arrival updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying our services. See our SMS Terms in our Terms and Conditions.
We call and text numbers you gave us, or gave a partner when you asked to be referred to us.
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including tax, accounting and claims, and as the law requires. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe, and a record of your consent or opt-out after that.
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. Depending on where you live (including some U.S. states and Canada), you may have more rights, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request. Use the request form in the “Your Privacy Choices” panel (we send a one-time link to your email to confirm it is you), or contact us below. Some requests, such as those about quotes and bookings, are handled by a member of our team. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. We may keep some information where the law requires it or to finish a job or claim.
We use encryption in transit, restricted staff access and a payment processor that keeps card numbers off our systems. No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
For customers in Canada, we handle personal information in line with Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA). Your information may be stored and processed in the United States by us and our service providers, where it may be available to U.S. authorities under U.S. law.
We post changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also show a notice on our site.
